Rob Iacocca's Award-Winning Design Enhances User Experience

Inspired by the modern design languages unveiled by Google and Apple in 2015, Iacocca incorporated Material Design and iOS design principles to create a cohesive user experience. The design stands out for its simplicity, bold imagery, and a mobile-first approach. The redesign has not only transformed the website but also the overall online experience of Embassy Flavours.

The design was realized using the Sketch app and leading design strategy techniques. During the conceptualization phase, design strategy practices were used in conjunction with group sessions to best solve the challenges of the design. The final creatives were then coded and optimized for both desktop and mobile views.

The website was designed for functionality and ease of use. The pages highlight the cutting-edge products that Embassy Flavours makes. The full list of products is intuitively laid out, making it easy for users of all types to locate what they need. Special care was taken to optimize the mobile and desktop experience for users in North America as well as internationally.

The design project, which started in mid-2016 in Toronto, Canada, and was completed in early 2017, faced the challenge of engaging users through fairly complex product lists and ingredients. Bold imagery of the end-product and an emphasis on high-tech methods were used to create buy-in and build a connection with the user. The design also underwent extensive testing to ensure strong results from Google's Pagespeed Insights on both desktop and mobile.

The redesign of Embassy Flavours' web experience has received positive feedback from users, who reported a pleasant experience navigating the new site. They found the information easy to find and the layout intuitive and unique. The design, which is copyrighted to Bright Story Design, 2017, showcases a remarkable level of excellence and introduces positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
